West began working on it in 2017, but restarted it after a controversial interview with TMZ in May 2018, completing it over a period of two weeks. Guest appearances include Ty Dolla Sign, Kid Cudi, 070 Shake, Charlie Wilson, Jeremih, PartyNextDoor, and Nicki Minaj.
